To love, to share. To learn from one another. To remind ourselves children are amazing gifts, beautiful amanah from Allah.

For every moment photographed, love is spread.

Alhamdulillah, for a chance waking up to beautiful little people, spoiling us with their big, big LOVE.

These are visual stories of our children. One week at a time. In shaa Allah.

Cuti Ramadhan-Aidilfitri.

Eid this year is not the same anymore for Atok is no longer with us. We miss him so dearly.  May Allah placed his soul among the righteous and make his grave one of the gardens from heaven.

"The eyes send their tears and the heart is saddened, but we do not say anything except that which pleases our Lord.... We are the servants of Allah and we will return to Him; We thank Allah, the Creator of the Universe."

~ Luqman 31 : 16

The day you and your Abah cooked and prepared the meal for our iftar. The foods that carry a taste of love, alhamdulillah.

I just could not think of any picture to post but a picture of our little friend here for this week.  A beautiful moment to greet Ramadhan.  This little bird came to our shelter, backyard, weeks ago to build her nest.  We were excited for it is our first time experiencing this, especially the children. Sadly, she did not make it on first attempt.  It seemed the nest was not sturdy enough.  A weak human heart of me almost gave up seeing the situation, feeling kind of disappointed - very sad actually - that she did not make it. She worked so, so hard for it everyday picking anything she could - bit by bit - to build her tiny house. Yet it did not materialized. I felt so pity for her.

Days gone by, and to our surprise, she gave it another try.  This time making another attempt to build her nest, at the same exact location. Masha Allah look at the nest now! It's almost complete, she can finally resides in there.  Yes, even a bird has a complete trust in Allah.  She did not give up at all.  It came to a realisation to me that even a bird has to work hard for a shelter.  Allah has promised her food and shelter, but it does not mean she could just sit and do nothing; wait for her food to come, and her nest to be built by itself in seconds. Yes Allah has promised her shelter, but she gotta work for it. Allah has promised her food but she has to fly searching for it.  And what an amazing trust she has for her Creator, that she did not mind working hard for another try.  I felt so little, yet hopeful from the little bird's experience.

Oh by the way, she did not build it alone, she did it together with her partner.
